Maxine Thelma Snodgrass age 87, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on April 5, 2024, at her home.

Maxine was born in Tazewell TN., the daughter of the late; Millard Yeary and Laura Edens Yeary, she was one of 11 children. In her younger years, she moved around the US, with her family Upon returning home she met and married her late husband of forty-five years, John Logan Snodgrass Jr., Maxine loved reading the bible. She was a member of Ingles Chapel Church, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 10 siblings: Earl, Ober Kenny, Uless, Venus, Martha, Bessie, Beulah, Christine, & Gladys.

Left to cherish her memory, daughters; Debra Cook and her husband Louis, & Karen Snodgrass, grandson, Paul Cook, two granddaughters, Mary Alice Cook, and Annalee Cook, special niece, Jessica Snodgrass, other close relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Holding Funeral Home in Rose Hill, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the visitation.
The funeral service will be conducted following in the funeral home's chapel with Pastor Norman Clark officiating.
The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Yeary family cemetery in Ewing, VA., Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Holding Funeral Home in Rose Hill, VA (6066 Dr. Thomas Walker Rd. ) Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
