Soap Box Derby This Saturday – Road Closures & Event Info
We’re excited to host our annual Soap Box Derby this Saturday, May 10th right here in Pennington Gap!
To ensure everyone’s safety and make room for all the fun, please be aware of the following road closures:
West Morgan Avenue will be closed from Ford Street to the railroad tracks in front of Charly’s.
North Kentucky Avenue will be closed from the red light to Zion Street. Detour routes will be Joslyn Ave.
These closures will be in effect from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday.
Also, Main Street will be closed Friday night and remain closed all day Saturday for the craft vendors and community activities.
Bring the family, enjoy the races, shop local crafts, and help us make it a great day in Pennington Gap!
