50th Annual MEOC Walkathon!

For half a century, our community has come together to help older adults in our community who can’t afford heat during an emergency. The Walkathon supports MEOC’s Emergency Fuel Fund for the Elderly, providing critical assistance during winter crises across our region.

 Sunday, May 3, 2026
Bullitt Park, Big Stone Gap
 Registration at 1 p.m. | Walk at 2 p.m.

Enjoy a 5K walk along the Greenbelt Trail, followed by a free picnic and live music by If Birds Could Fly. All ages and abilities are welcome.
