Lee High School’s indoor track teams turned in an impressive performance at their recent meet, highlighted by a championship finish from the Lady Generals and a strong runner-up showing by the boys team.
The Lee High girls team brought home the gold medal with an outstanding overall effort, earning top finishes across several events to secure the team title. Their strong performances both on the track and in the field helped propel the Lady Generals to the top of the standings.
The Lee High boys team also had a great showing, finishing as runner-up in the meet. The Generals picked up valuable points throughout the competition with several strong individual performances and relay finishes.
To celebrate their success, members of the Lee High indoor track teams were invited to visit the WSWV studios for an interview with our Mike Elkins to talk about their big day and the hard work that led to their impressive finishes.
