LEE COUNTY WOMAN SENTENCED TO SERVE 10 YEARS IN METHAMPHETAMINE CASE

Jonesville, VA: Lee County Commonwealth’s Attorney H. Fuller Cridlin announced Monday, August 18, 2025, that Alissa Marsee was sentenced by the Lee County Circuit Court to serve a total of ten years in the Virginia Penitentiary on charges of distributing methamphetamine and conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. This term of active incarceration is to be followed by indefinite supervised probation. According to Cridlin, the conviction and sentence were the result of a coordinated effort between the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the Virginia State Police, and his office. Cridlin released the following
statement:
“The sentence imposed, ten years to serve, reflects the harm that distributing methamphetamine causes in our community. I appreciate all law enforcement officers with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police, and Southwest Virginia Drug Task Force for their work in this case. I especially want to commend Agent Kelly Harvel and Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Don Williams for their work on the case.”
