Youths responsible for TN fire could face 60 years to life

The two teens responsible for the TN wildfires that left 14 people dead, another 175 injured, and more than 2,400 houses, businesses and other structures destroyed are facing serious prison time. The two are currently being held in a Sevier County detention center. Damages from the fire are estimated to be more than $500 million.

If convicted of aggravated arson, the two could go to prison for 60 years.

If convicted for more serious charges, including first-degree murder, they could spend the rest of their lives in prison. The two remain unidentified because of their age.
