White Rocks Community Center and Repair Affair Wheelchair Ramp Project

In conjunction with Repair Affair, the White Rocks Community Center in Ewing will be building wheelchair ramps for families that have a family member who require the use of a wheelchair, and whose income is less than 135% of the Federal Poverty Level. In order to qualify for this, individuals must reside in western Lee County and not have a safe wheelchair ramp at their home currently.
The men’s outreach program ministry from Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church of Middlesboro, Kentucky is sending volunteers from Middlesboro to help western Lee County residents. Repair Affair has been volunteering to build wheelchair ramps in Bell County, Kentucky for qualified families for years now, and the ministry has been expanded to include Northern Claiborne County, Tennessee and Western Lee County, Virginia.
To apply for a free wheelchair ramp, qualifying applicants may call Mrs. Wade Wilson at the White Rocks Community Center at 276-445-4683 and schedule an appointment. This free service is being scheduled for the Spring season so reserve your date now.
