Voting in the Commonwealth of Virginia 2020

For residents of Virginia, the law requires that you must first live in the precinct you want to be registered for. You must also be properly registered and legally qualified to vote in your district and precinct by Tuesday, May 26th, 2020 by 5:00 pm.
The Voter Registration Office of Lee County is open Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm each day. The Registrar Office of Voters is located in the middle brick building, at 133 School Board Place in Jonesville, Va.
In Person and Mail in Absentee Voting has already begun. Residents are reminded and strongly encouraged to submit a registration application in order to vote, and to keep your information updated as need be, at all times.
June 16th, 2020 is the last day they will accept Absentee Ballot applications from legal residents.
One of the requirements to vote in Virginia is a Photo ID. Individuals without a Photo ID, may go to the Registrars’ Office during business hours to have one made, free of charge.
