VLCF Awards Grant to Preserve The Cedars

The Department of Conservation and Recreation has granted Lee County more than $220,000 to purchase additional land to preserve The Cedars region, documented to be one of the most biologically diverse areas in North America. The money will endure that keytracts at risk of incompatible usage will be preserved or restored. Governor Terry McAuliffe says he is extremely proud that the Commonwealth can assist with the funding of these critical projects.
