Virginia Citizens Defense League Report

According to reports from the Virginia Citizens Defense League, at least 41 communities have already passed resolutions for Second Amendment Sanctuary status. The topic has drawn record breaking crowds to public meetings and hearings. Statements from Political Analysts state that it doesn’t really matter legally, but is just another symbol of resistance, but the “coordination, speed and energy of the movement” could potentially have real world consequences.
Meanwhile, states can choose to ignore the Second Amendment Sanctuary status title, and they remain poised to hear Bills expanding on background checks, limit gun magazine sizes, and specify time limits to report a lost or stolen firearm among them. With more and more Commonwealth localities having meetings in the coming weeks, the support movement from citizens will most likely continue to grow.
