Tri-State Beef Cattle Conference Will Be August 9th

Tri-State Beef Cattle Conference to be held August 9th at the Ron Ramsey Regional Agriculture Center in Blountville, Tennessee. Topics expected to be addressed at this year’s conference will include educational sessions concerning Beef Cattle Outlook with Dr. Joseph Maples, Stocker Versus Feedlot Health with Dr Harold Newcomb, Merc  Animal Health, Management and Intensive Grazing with Dr Dennis Hancock.
Offering virtual tours again this year of operations in each of the three states; followed by a question and answer period with the actual producers. A trade show scheduled to open at 8a.m. will be available with many of the organizations involved in the region’s beef industry there to meet and gather more information about their products and services.
Scheduled to begin at 8a.m. for registration, the program portion of the Conference  is slated to begin at 9:20a.m. Lunch will be ribeye steak meal.
Sponsored by the University of Tennessee Extension, Virginia Cooperative Extension, and North Carolina Cooperative Extension. Registration and complete program details are available at your local County Extension Office. The cost of registration is $20 now thru July 27th, and after that the cost is $25.
