Traffic Stop Nets Four on Drug Charges

Recently Jonesville Police Department Sergeant Aaron Payne, performed a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of four people. Officer Payne states that while stopping a vehicle for a faulty brake light, he was given the ‘go ahead’ by the driver to search the vehicle. Payne searched a backpack and found what appeared to be 3.2 ounces of methamphetamine, estimated street value of $2,500 dollars. Also discovered was a scale, along with several baggies.
The vehicle’s occupants consisted of Brandon Dye age 39 or Pennington Gap, Casey Smith age 48 of Dryden, Timmie Collins age 60 of St. Charles, and Tabitha Musick age 33 of Jonesville. All four occupants were charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I and II Drugs. Additionally, Musick was served with active charges from Scott County.
