Szemak Arraigned in Lee County

A Lee County woman was arraigned Monday after being extradited from Kentucky where she was being held for possession of methamphetamine. Amanda Szemak was taken into custody by the Jonesville Police Department for an offense that occurred on June 30. Szemak was pulled over by the Jonesville Police Department and found with methamphetamine in a 95 Ford Mustang with expired tags that did not match the vehicle. She was not arrested until lab reports confirmed that the substance was meth. Szemak is being held at the Duffield Regional Jail on a $10,000 secured bond.
