SWVA Meth Ring Conspirators to be Sentenced

Four members of a Southwest Virginia methamphetamine ring will be sentenced in the coming months.

Information from U.S. District Court in Abingdon shows a case involving four individuals recently concluded with guilty pleas to lesser charges in a conspiracy case involving the drug "ice."

Ysidro Juarez III, 53, of Houston, Tx., and Ronald Sizemore, 56, of Kentucky, accepted plea deals with federal prosecutors and pled guilty Tuesday, according to the report.

Both men will be sentenced in January.

Two other suspects, Angel Soliz, Sr., 56, and Angel Soliz, Jr., 37, also of Houston, Tx., pleaded guilty last month and both will be sentenced December 13. Soliz, Sr., also agreed to forfeit over $800,000 as part of the agreement.

Prosecutors said the four men transported and sold large quantities of ice brought in from Texas to dealers in Southwest Virginia and Eastern Kentucky between 2013 and 2015.
