STEM Challenge for Lee County 4H Youth

The newest initiative designed to spark interest in children everywhere in the fields of science, engineering, technology and math with hands on learning entitled STEM is available right now. These activities are a fun and educational addition to your child’s remote learning and will fill some of their idle moments.
The current Mars Base Camp STEM challenge will teach participants about missions to Mars and everything else about the famous red planet. This challenge corresponds to the Perseverance Rover landing on Mars on February 18, 2021.
These kits include everything necessary for one to four children to build one rover which includes all materials. The kits also contain additional activities so children can learn about landing on Mars specifically.
Those wishing to participate may purchase the STEM kit at the discounted price of just $10, which is regularly $15.95 plus shipping and handling costs. Detailed information is available by clicking this convenient link.
This STEM challenge is available to all children that reside or attend school in Lee County. Please note this special pricing is a one time offer and kits are limited. For additional information please contact the Lee County Extension Office by phone at 276-546-2057.
