The Lee County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant on Monday evening, October 5th, at 2186 Saint Charles Road. Sheriff Gary Parsons says that once in the house, officers discovered 2 zip lock bags full of marijuana, a variety of prescription medications, drug paraphernalia, along with a rifle and ammo.
According to Parsons, those in the house, 36 year old Jeremy Cox and 34 year old Jennifer Riddle, were both charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of ammo and firearm after being convicted of a felony. The two were also charged with neglect and abuse of an elderly man also living in the house.
Both are being held in the Duffield Regional Jail without bond. They were arraigned on Wednesday morning in the Lee County General District Court.
