Scott County Police Chase Three Women

The Virginia State Police have filed additional charges against three Sullivan County, Tennessee women who were arrested after a police chase last Tuesday evening.
The Virginia State Police report stated that Autumn L. Gillis age 28 of Kingsport, fired numerous shots at a Gate City officer that was in his vehicle in pursuit. Gillis is charged with felony eluding, obstruction/resisting law enforcement and the reckless use of a firearm.
Two other women involved were Elisabeth G. Lloyd age 26, and Lauren D. Venable age 24 both of Kingsport are facing charges of one count of felony eluding each.
The police chase began just after half past ten Tuesday night when the Gate City officer initiated a traffic stop on the car in which all three women were in. Neither of the two Gate City officers involved were injured during the car chase of the shooting according to the Virginia State Police report.
Eventually the car crashed on Spivey Mill Lane and Lloyd remained at the scene and was arrested, while both Gillis and Venable were arrested the following morning.
The Scott County Sheriff's office further stated that Venable and Gillis are also being charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny.
