Scott County K9 Deputy Pearla Nabs Chrystal Younce on Multiple Charges

In the twin WSWV local news, the Scott County Sheriff’s Office who received a BOLO or Be On The Lookout from the Gate City Police Department for a black Dodge Dart. Occupants of the Dart were suspected of shop lifting at Dollar General in Gate City, Virginia. A Scott County Deputy spotted the vehicle sitting in Midway Market parking lot on Route 72. Pulling into the parking lot, the Deputy spoke to the accused Chrystal Younce of Bristol, Tennessee.
When Younce gave her license, it showed it been revoked in Tennessee. K9 Pearla took action and jumped into the open driver’s side door and alerted to something in the backseat. Following a search of the vehicle, the Deputy found approximately 11 grams of Methamphetamine, 4 grams of Marijuana, pills, syringes, baggies and a Suboxone strip, along with $60 in cash. The vehicle was promptly seized and later released to its owner.
Charges against Chrystal Younce include Possession with Intent to Sell/Give or Distribute Methamphetamine.
Possession of a Schedule 2 Drug
Possession with Intent to Sell/Give or Distribute Marijuana.
Possession of Controlled Paraphernalia.
