The Virginia House of Delegates will get a new make up, if the latest redistricting plan moves forward. It redreaws the borders of the 100 state House districts to address population changes between the 2000 and 2010 census and reduces the number of districts representing the communities west of I-77 from six to five. Now, there’s a 15 day public comment period, followed by eight public hearings.
