Public Service Authority

The Lee County Public Service Authority received numerous updates from Director Tracey Puckett, with some projects receiving extra funding and some receiving positive feedback. Mainline Construction has begun the Elydale Waterline Replacement and is progressing as well as remaining under bid. An extra sixty thousand dollars worth of funding was provided to the Isopod Road Project from the Coal Water Development Fund. If there should happen to be a shortfall, Lenowisco has already agreed to assist with remaining funds. Lenowisco also contributed forty thousand dollars toward the Eastern Lee Master Meter Project with thirty thousand dollars worth of residential meters having already been installed. The Public Service Authority approved Director Puckett's reports, agenda and minutes form last month's meeting before entering into Closed Session to discuss contracts and personnel matters, after which they adjourned until their next meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening October 24th.
