Oxy Arrest After Traffic Stop in Pennington Gap

The Lee County Sheriff’s Department picked up three people on drug charges, this weekend. Their vehicle was stopped in Pennington Gap. Deputies asked for consent to search the vehicle, near the Rite Aid, and found 220 oxycontin pills. 60 year old Emma Bammer and 57 year old Kenneth Warfield of Mooresburg, Tennessee and 33 year old Deborah Eldridge were arrested and charged. Sheriff Gary Parsons says deputies found documents in the vehicle that indicate one or more of the suspects had been doctor shopping in South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee, and that the oxy found in the vehicle was being delivered to a residence in Lee County.
