Operation Rudolph’s Roundup

In nearby Scott County, Virginia authorities have indictments for 111 people on 314 felony charges as part of their Operation Rudolph’s Roundup. Law enforcement Deputies state that methamphetamine is a dangerous problem that is growing and continues to place citizens at risk. Adding further that they are trying their best to make a dent in it and that taxpayers are suffering because of it.
Scott County Deputies state that 66% of their drug related arrests come from Scott County and the surrounding southwest Virginia counties, although they work across state lines to make arrests in drug distribution cases. 34% of their remaining drug related cases are made up of out of state indictments.
