Officer Parker Nabs Woliver and Warner on Multiple Charges

In today’s local news, police officer Tracey Parker of the Pennington Gap Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the Town of Pennington Gap on Tuesday March 3, 2020. According to a recent press release from Major Jimmy Woodard of the Lee County Sheriff's Department, the traffic stop resulted in the location of a firearm, eighteen grams of Methamphetamine and an undisclosed amount of Suboxone.
Assisting Officer Parker with the traffic stop was Officer Jimmy Adair of the Pennington Gap Police Department, Deputy Chad Rouse, Sergeant Mason Cook, and Lieutenant Chris Dillman, all of the the Lee County Sheriff's Department.
Christopher Woliver, age 31 of Orr Street in Big Stone Gap, Va, is charged with Possession of a Firearm while being in Possession of a Schedule II Ddrug, Possession of Schedule III, as well as multiple traffic violations.
Crystal Warner, age 44, of Elk Knob Road in Pennington Gap, is charged with Possession of Schedule II with Intent to Distribute.
Major Woodard confirms both are currently being held at the Duffield Regional Jail without bond. Major Woodard went on to commend all of the officers involved for their dedication to the betterment of Lee County and ensuring the safety of our citizens by removing drug offenders from our streets.
