Nathan Frazier Arrested for Abduction and Strangulation

The latest Press Release from authorities in Scott County, Virginia concerning the April 1st arrest of Nathan Frazier, age 35 of Hiltons, Virginia claims that Frazier had reportedly strangled a female victim multiple times throughout May, June and July of 2019. Stating that Frazier had allegedly beat and strangled the victim unconscious while holding her captive and preventing her from leaving.
Frazier has done time in federal prison and was currently on federal probation at the time of his arrest, and has since been charged with multiple offenses including One Count of Abduction and Felony Strangulation three counts, Assault and Battery on three counts, and Possession of Ammunition as a Convicted Felon. The case is still under investigation and additional charges are possible as a result.
Federal Court records show that Frazier had previously pled guilty to Manufacture of Marijuana plants, Manufacture of Psilocybin Mushrooms, and Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime. The records go on to show that before that Frazier had pled guilty to drug and firearm charges in Scott County Circuit Court.
On his federal charges, Nathan Frazier was sentenced to 24 months in jail for the drugs and to 60 months in jail for the weapon charges, with all sentences to run concurrently. Records show that Frazier had been released on August 24th, 2018 from the Bureau of Prisons and was serving five years supervised release at the time of his arrest.
Frazier had been granted permission to relocate to the southwest Virginia region with his probation under the Probation Office for the Western District of Virginia.
