Man Wanted for High Speed Chase

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who led police on a high speed chase Monday morning. Sheriff Gary Parsons says Pennington Gap Police stopped a vehicle with four passengers on Highway 58 before the car sped off, reaching speeds of 90 mph. The chase ended when the car hit a utility pole. The three passengers were arrested, but the drive, identified as Jeremy Michael Boggs, fled the scene. Upon searching the car, deputies found multiple items used to make meth.

Boggs is 6’1″ and has black hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and jean shorts. Anyone with information on Boggs is asked contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 276-346-4111.
