A Lee High School Senior verbally committed to ETSU football team
Justin Gilliam had many other colleges such as Emory & Henry, the University of the Cumberlands (Kentucky) and Virginia Military Institute that shown interest in his football talents but he decided to go to East Tennessee State University.
Gilliam will graduate as the Generals’ career record-holder in receptions (86), receiving yards (1,837) and touchdown catches (24).
ETSU opens the 2015 season on September 3 against Kennesaw State in Johnson City, marking the return of collegiate football at the school after a 12-year absence.
