Lee County Tobacco & Fall Festival Event 2019

This year's Lee County Tobacco & Fall Festival Event will be held this Saturday from 9am until 5pm. in downtown Pennington Gap, Va. Among the offerings available will be a parade, the 5K Race, Pancake Breakfast, Food Booths etc.
The 1 Mile Fun Run and the Steven Rowlett Memorical Race 5K Race will begin at Lee Bank & Trust company and start the day of celebration at 8:30am and 9am respectively, to be followed by lots of arts and crafts, live music, dancing and other forms of entertainment. Your kids can participate in a free marshmallow eating contest with a $25 prize, after watching the adults participate in the Pepper Eating Contest at noon that has a $50 prize.
The Men's Methodist Pancake Breakfast will be from 7am until 11am. Offering all you can eat pancake breakfasts for just ten dollars with lots of different topping options, make certain you and your family show up hungry.
The Tobacco Festival Parade will begin at 3pm. Participants will line up behind Pennington Middle School no later than 2pm on the day of the event.
Prizes for awards for the races include long sleeve Tshirts for all registered walkers and runners, with the first 100 racers guaranteed to receive shirts on race day. Trophies for the Top Male and Female Overall and Top Male and Female Master age 40 and up,Trophies for the Top Three Male and Female Finishers in each age group.
