Lee County Sheriff’s Report- August

Total calls received by Lee County Dispatch Office 7,201.

Total calls received, deputies responded to 857.

There were 378 calls dispatched to the Fire Warden, Conservation Officer, V.D.O.T., Juvenile Services, Department of Social Services, Animal Control, State Police and the Towns of Jonesville and Pennington Gap Police Departments.

There were 212 rescue squad calls and 7 ambulance calls.
There were 26 fire department calls dispatched.

Deputies escorted 21 funerals.

Deputies unlocked 39 vehicles for the citizens.

Deputies served 137 felony and misdemeanor warrants, 218 Subpoenas, 48 show cause summons and 256 other civil papers for the three Lee County Courts. Deputies served 46 protective orders.

Deputies processed 94 people on 137 charges in the month of August alone.

Lee County Sheriff’s Office Executed 5 search warrants.

Deputies traveled a total of 67,181 miles with 1,579 miles being on transports.

Deputies transported 2 juveniles, 5 mental health patients, and 3 prisoner from other jurisdictions.

Inmates from the Regional Jail along with Deputies picked up 489 bags of trash from Lee County roadways.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Officers worked a total of 112 Community Volunteer hours this month.
