Lee County Sheriff’s report

February report for the Lee County Sheriff's Office received over 8,000 total calls; of which 1,732 were Deputy response calls.

This total indicates the number of calls in which a deputy physically responded to a residence/scene to assist a citizen.

45% of the deputy response calls were carried out between the days of February 24, and February 28 at which time the county was under a state of emergency. Assistance included was the delivery of water, food, medication(s), welfare checks, rescue/patient retrieval from homes inaccessible to the local rescue squads throughout the entirety of the county.
