Lee County Sheriff’s Office January 2020 Activity Report

Total number of calls received by the Lee County Dispatch Office was 4,611.
Total number of calls that deputies responded to was 830.
There were 375 calls dispatched to the Fire Warden, Conservation Officer, VDOT, Juvenile Services, Department of Social Services, Animal Control, State Police, and the towns of Jonesville and Pennington Gap Police Departments.
There were 236 Rescue Squad calls dispatched, with 3 ambulance calls.
There were 36 Fire Department calls dispatched.
Deputies escorted 18 funerals.
Deputies unlocked 46 vehicles for citizens.
Deputies served 91 Felony and Misdemeanor Warrants, 100 Subpoenas, 25 Show Cause Summons, and 420 Civil Papers for the three Lee County Courts.
Deputies served 40 Protective Orders, and processed 55 people on 91 charges.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office executed 2 Search Warrants.
Deputies traveled a total of 62,692 miles, with 3,414 of those miles being on transports.
Deputies transported 1 Juvenile, 7 Mental Health Patients, and 4 Prisoners from other jurisdictions.
Inmates from the Duffield Regional Jail, along with deputies, picked up 604 bags of trash from the Lee County roadways.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Officers worked a total of 96 Community Volunteer hours last month.
