Qualified individuals should note that the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for the position of Domestic Violence Officer. Duties and responsibilities will be to assist victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. Must be on call 24 hours a day to respond to domestic violence calls, file all quarterly reports with the Grant Management System. Assist in obtaining and serving all criminal and civil papers associated with a domestic violence violation; and attend all required court appearances and any other duties that may result in assisting victims of domestic violence.
A college degree is required and law enforcement experience is preferable. The position is grand funded and continuance of the position is contingent upon funding of the grant annually.
