Lee County Educator Charlcia Jones Honored

Locally Lee County educator Charlcia Jones has been honored by the state's education department for over thirty years service in public education. Currently Jones is the media specialist at Jonesville Middle School, and was chosen as regional teacher from five thousand other teachers in the nineteen school districts in our region.
According to Jonesville Middle School Principal, Stacey Belcher, "She's (Jones) been in the school system for years but she still has that same passion and love for teaching and love for children."
Ms. Jones won the regional award after winning the Teacher of the Year at Jonesville Middle School and for the Lee County School District.
