The Lee County School Board has called a Special Called meeting today at 6 p.m. at the School Board Office. The meeting is being held to discuss and consider action to amend the current educational plan for the 2020-2021 school year. Specifically, the School Board will be considering an extension of the current remote learning until Friday, September 11 and a change to more in-person instruction on Monday, September 14. The proposed change is that students in grades PK-7 will attend daily Monday through Thursday and students in grades 8-12 will continue attending in their current A or B group. The A group will attend on Monday and Tuesday and B group will attend on Wednesday and Thursday. Friday will be a designated remote-learning day. Each in-person day will continue be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
