Lee High School students had the opportunity to hear from former Lee High graduate, Kim Litton, concerning her battle with addiction. Litton claims, “I started in high school. I started in ninth grade. It continued. It got worse through the years.” Happily Litton’s story has a happy ending, in that she’s been sober for fifteen years now.
As a director of a substance abuse facility in Florida, she has come full circle and now wants to make a lasting impact here, where her family and friends still reside. Here where her own battle with addiction began.
