The Jonesville Town Council approved the budget for the next fiscal year and the Lenowisco Regional Water Supply plan, after public hearings on the resolutions, this week. The Council also filled two vacant seats. Council members nominated and approved Darrell Hines, who’s a retired school teacher, and Wayne Maness. They’re filling vacancies from elected members. Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy Bobby Slusher found the meetings conflicted with his shifts and resigned his council position as of May 31st. And, Curt Willis passed away in February.
