A Jonesville native was arrested Thursday afternoon after a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in central Nebraska.
Twenty year old Taylor Spurrier of Johnson City, TN was driving a vehicle loaded with 41 pounds of marijuana. According to the Lexington Clipper Herald, Dawson County Chief Deputy Sheriff Mike Hudson says it occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the exit ramp of the Darr interchange. A 2004 Ford F-150 pickup was stopped by deputies for a stop sign violation. A Dawson County K-9 was deployed and indicated that there was the odor of illegal drugs in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 41 pounds packaged marijuana in an aftermarket toolbox.
Spurrier was arrested and booked into Dawson County Jail for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver.
