Jacklyn Diane Rash and James Alan Brock of Jonesville Arrested by Pennington Gap Police Department on Drug Charges

According to the latest Pennington Gap Police Department Press Release, On December 30th, 2018 while patrolling East Morgan Avenue, Officer Adair observed a green Acura with no visible registration in view. Upon making the traffic stop, Deputy Adair observed a female individual as the operator of the vehicle that identified themself as Mrs. Jacklyn Diane Rash of Jonesville. Deputy Adair also observed a male individual as the passenger who identified himself as Mr. James Alan Brock of Jonesville. Upon speaking to Mrs. Rash, she stated that the passenger Mr. Brock, had handed her a bottle and told her to hide it. She then reached into the front of her pants and handed the Deputy a yellow Tylenol bottle that contained a bag of Methamphetamine, two Diazepam and one Klonopin pill.
Mrs. Rash was then arrested for two Misdemeanor charges of Possession of Schedule 2 and 4 narcotics. Upon searching the vehicle Deputy Adair observed a set of digital scales. Rash was also arrested for one Felony charge of Possession of Schedule 2 Narcotics with the Intent to Distribute.
After finding the evidence of narcotics on Mrs. Rash; Deputy Adair proceeded to search Mr. Brock by asking him to empty his pockets. As he was emptying his pockets, Deputy Adair observed a bag of marijuana in his front right pocket. Deputy Adair then arrested Mr. Brock for three Misdemeanor charges of Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Schedule 2 and 4 Narcotics, and for one Felony charge of Possession of Schedule 2 Narcotics with Intent to Distribute as well.
Sheriff Parsons commended Officer Adair on his excellent work and said, “this is a good example of agencies working together to take dope out of our communities.” Sheriff Parsons added that Deputy Chad Rouse was called to the stop to assist Deputy Adair with the search of the vehicle and that both suspects were being held without bond.
