This weekend, the Lee High Boys and Girls basketball teams beat John Battle. The Generals won, 62-46, in the boys game. The girls won, 65-48. Tournaments begin this week. Lee High Girls will play Lebanon at Castlewood tonight for third place in the Clinch Mountain District. The Lady Generals tip off at 6. After their game, Gate City takes on Virginia High for the championship. Also tonight, Thomas Walker High School will host Ervinton for boys and girls games at six o’clock.
