A 48 year old Knox County man is in the Bell County Detention Center, facing kidnapping and other charges. Several women identified Mark Anthony Burnette of Heidrick as the person who approached them in a threatening manner. In fact, Kentucky State Police issued a community safety alert after receiving complaints about him. And, a woman in Harlan called in with a tip that helped police catch him. Police are still investigating. He drove a late model black Dodge pickup truck.
