A man and woman in Harlan County have been indicted on drug charges for allegedly trafficking in oxycodone.
Harlan City Police Department Cpl. Jeff Owens arrested Lawrence C. Middleton, 70, and Phyllis Freyer, 66, on indictment warrants on Sunday.
The indictments were handed down by the grand jury on June 29th after Middleton and Freyer sold oxycodone to a confidential informant working for the Kentucky State Police in March.
Both Middleton and Freyer were indicted for one count of first-degree trafficking of a controlled substance and both are being held in the Harlan County Detention Center on $2,500 full cash bonds.
