Charges are of possessing materials that can be used to make fire bombs or explosive devices, with the intent to manufacture fire bombs or explosive devices.
Elkins found the lost Jonathan Swift Silver Mine and wanted to get in, but hadn’t followed the proper procedures to possess explosive materials.
The jury recommended a sentence of 12 months in jail and a $1,000 fine. Sentencing is scheduled for July 15th.
