Tomorrow is election day. In Lee County, voters will select the mayors of Jonesville and Saint Charles and town council members for Jonesville and Saint Charles, as well. Saint Charles Mayor, Creed Webb Senior, is running unopposed. But, Jonesville mayor Greg Smith is being challenged by Marilyn Humfleet. In Scott County, no one filed paperwork to run for town office in Clinchport, so the mayor, recorder and five council positions will be chosen by write in votes. Gate City, Weber City and Dungannon all have mayor and council seats up for grabs. The polls will be open from 6am to 7pm.
