A Second disaster outreach center will be available for Lee County residents.
The Small Business Administration is assisting people and businesses with low-interest disaster loans for those that were affected by the winter storms and flooding during February and March.
This one will be in Lee County and open for four days: this Saturday, May 9, and then Monday through Wednesday the 11-13 of next week. Look for it in the 1st floor conference room of the Lee County Court House/Sheriff Office, 33640 Main Street in Jonesville.
The request is approved for Wise, Dickenson, Russell, Scott, and Lee counties, and includes the city of Norton.
Loans up to $200,000 are available to homeowners to help restore property, and up to $40,000 to replace items like clothing, furniture, and automobiles.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is June 29th. The deadline to return economic injury applications is January 28, 2016.
