D&H Mining Officials Waive Rights

Both Gerald Ball and Daniel Tucker of D & H Mining, waived their right to speedy trials and have since been released on bond after their hearings were conducted in Abingdon, Virginia. Both individuals were indicted last month on charges of falsifying documents and not adhering to mine safety laws. The same laws that are intended to protect miners from black lung disease at their facilities. Additionally pretrial hearings have been scheduled for just after the holiday season in January 2020.
