David Eggar Concert to Benefit Lee County Graduates

Musical prodigy David Eggar and friends will perform in concert on September 27th at the C. Bascom Slemp Auditorium at Lee High School at 7 p.m. The concert is intended to benefit Lee County Graduates that are attending Mountain Empire Community College.
Advance tickets are available at the Town of Jonesville, MECC Foundation Offices, Powell Valley News and also at the door. The cost for seniors is $12 and adults $15. You may also purchase tickets online at www.meccfoundation.org/lceggar
This concert is another effort of the Lee County Endowed Scholarship Committee to aid Lee County graduates with scholarship funding to attend local college Mountain Empire Community College. Some of the sponsors for the concert are Americore Health, Edward Jones, Elk Knob Inc, Farmers and Miners Bank, Lee County Democrat and Republican Parties, H Ronnie and Sandra Montgomery, Powell Valley National Bank and the Town of Jonesville.
The newly formed committee was created to assist in the establishment of endowed scholarships for graduates, with Cynthia Kinser as the Chairman of the committee. Any donation is appreciated no matter the amount and thanks to an anonymous donor will be doubled as they have offered to match all donations that are collected for the fund, these scholarships are intended to benefit the students of Lee County specifically. All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
