At The Inn at Wise, a free regional health coalition training and networking event will be on April 29 from 9am to 3 pm.
Interactive sessions will focus on improving community health by using data and evidenced-based strategies. Participants will learn how to build and strengthen local partnerships, develop priorities and increase public awareness and community action.
This event is available through a partnership of the Healthy Appalachia Institute at UVa-Wise and the Virginia Department of Health, with support from The Center for Appalachian Philanthropy (AppaPhil) and the County Health Rankings program, produced by the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
