Carroll Takes Helm of Lee High Football

Joey Carroll, a Lee High Alum, has accepted the head coaching position at Lee High School.  It didn’t take long for the Lee High Football program to find its new leader  as Carroll’s appointment to this position was approved by the Lee County School Board on Thursday, May 13.  Carroll, a graduate of Lee High in 2001, and played at the college level for Concord University in West Virginia.  He has been the head of the Person Rockets for the last 2 years going 7 for 11 but was helping improve the program by having a winning record last year.  Prior to his stint with the Rockets, Carroll had a winning record at Marion, leading the Scarlet Hurricanes to the playoffs 6 times.
