Lee County Board of Supervisors Council member was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of drugs.
Jason Grey Crabtree, 39, Jonesville, was arrested and charged with refusal of blood or breathalyzer test and DUID.
Crabtree was caught when Pennington Gap police was watching for Crabtree's truck, who allegedly was crossing the white lines four times.
When Crabtree was asked to do a field sobriety test, he allegedly was unsteady, glassy eyes, slurred speech and was slow to respond. He also refused a blood test and was arrested.
Crabtree represents the 2nd district in Lee County, which encompasses the town of Jonesville. He was elected to a four-year term in 2011. At one time, he served as chairman of the board.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 10 at 9 a.m. for the DUID charge and Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. on the refusal of blood test charge.
