Bill could require students to get at least 20 mins physical activity per day

Virginia's House of Delegates has approved a bill that would require public school students get at least an average of 20 minutes of physical activity a day. The legislation would apply to students in kindergarten through fifth grade.

The Senate has already approved its version of the bill.

On Wednesday, the bill's sponsor, Del. Manoli Loupassi, pointed out that inmates in prison are given an hour a day for physical activity.
