A Bell County magistrate has been arrested on a solicitation to commit murder charge after being arrested by Kentucky State Police.
Ricky Allen Goodin, of Pineville, is being held in the Bell County Detention Center after Kentucky State Police detectives were tipped off about threats made by Goodin to arrange for the murder of another person. Upon further investigation an arrest warrant was obtained.
Goodin was arrested in March for drug charges including two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), three counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, nine counts of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, two counts of third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, and trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 yards of a school
Goodin is now being held on a $1 million cash bond. His court date has not been released.
